Áskell is an easy and scalable financial technology software for subscriptions and recurring payments. The software works as the missing puzzle between customers, companies and payment acquirers. By using Áskell there’s no need to maintain large and costly payment systems. Áskell also connects to a variety of other business critical systems, such as for accounting and automation.
The company
Áskell is developed by an Icelandic software company called Overcast. Overcast was established in the early 2000s and employs a cross-functional team of professionals in development, UX/UI, design, project management, sales and marketing.

Message from our CEO
Áskell began as a solution to a very real problem - our own. Over a decade ago, we launched Guitarparty.com to help people around the world learn to play guitar. As our community grew, we needed a way to offer monthly and yearly subscriptions, in multiple currencies, across different countries. Back then, no payment system on the market could do exactly what we needed. So, we built one ourselves. What started as a simple subscription tool has since evolved into Áskell — a fully featured recurring payment platform designed to meet the needs of growing businesses. It all began with meeting our particular needs, but today Áskell supports companies far beyond our original use case.
